Melanoma WA

On Friday 18 August we had a visit from a team of bike riders who are travelling the John Forrest Heritage Trail from Mundaring to Northam and return for MelanomaWA  to raise awareness about skin cancer prevention.   They spoke with the students to encourage sun smart behaviour and being proactive towards their health.  The students learnt about Slip, Slop, Slap and the importance of sun protection. The students also did a colouring in competition and work sheets during the lead up to Melanoma WA’s visit. The students thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learnt some valuable sun smart information.
