Room 4 iMaths

In Room 4 we have been working with the iMaths program to discover the properties of three dimensional shapes. Did you know that prisms are made of rectangles and are named by their end shape? So, the hexagonal prism is called its name because it is made of two parallel hexagons and six rectangle faces. We used plastic drinking straws and masking tape, to make three dimensional shapes, in cooperative learning teams.
